Zagreb / Venice – Lipica – Postojna Cave – Bled Lake – Bohinj Lake – Ljubljana
Day 1 : ARRIVE DAY
Arrive on Airport Zagreb or Venice. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in city of Zagreb or in Venice area.
Day 2: LIPICA – POSTOJNA CAVE – BLED
Breakfast. At the border, meeting with your guide that will stay with the group throughout
the circuit in Slovenia. In the morning, guided tour of the Lipica Stud Farm, founded in the sixteenth century by the Habsburg family. We will see the Lipizzaner horses, beautiful “high-school” horses of the famous Spanish Riding from Vienna. We continue to Postojna! You will have the opportunity of the magnificent tour of Slovenia’s most beautiful caves in total length of more than 20 kms. On foot and by electric train, we will go through 5 km of this true gem of nature through those magnificent halls. Dinner and overnight in Bled region.
Day 3: BLED LAKE – BOHINJ LAKE
Breakfast at the hotel. The whole morning will be devoted to discover Lake Bled, dominated by its castle and sheltering in the middle the island of the Virgin. Ride on “pletna” (typical boat) to the islet of the Virgin.
Visit of the church of St. Mary. In the afternoon, beautiful course through a landscape full of beautiful Slovenian villages famous for their architecture and magnificent nature. We will also see Lake Bohinj, at the bottom of a deep glacial valley in the Julian Alps. Return to the hotel for dinner and accommodation.
Day 4: LJUBLJANA
Breakfast and way to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Guided tour of the city: the Triple Bridge, the Saint Cathedral of St. Nicolas, the Fountain of the Rivers, the Market Plecnik and obelisk in honor of Napoleon … Tour in Piran where we can stroll the old Venetian harbor and the “Large square “. Continue to Lido di Jesolo or the region of Venice or Zagreb. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5: LJUBLJANA – AIRPORT
Departure after breakfast to choose Airport: Zagreb or Venice.
