DAY 1 : ZAGREB
Arrival to Zagreb. After a panoramic tour of city accommodation in the hotel where lunch will be served. In the afternoon you will experience Zagreb with local guide: Kaptol, Cathedral, Market Dolac, church and Square of St. Marko. After the city tour take a break for a coffee or cake in one of famous delicious confectioneries. Return to hotel. Overnight.
DAY 2.:ZAGREB – NOVA GRADIŠKA – CERNIK – STARA KAPELA – NOVA GRADIŠKA
After breakfast departure to Nova Gradiška. Accommodation in hotel. Tour around the town with a local guide. The city is founded in 1748 on a military border. After sightseeing in Nova Gradiška you will visit Cernik, destination which is famous byits Castle Kulmer, the parish church and Franciscan monastery from 18th century. There is an exhibition related to history of the Bible and archeological excavation in the Holy Land, the unique exhibit in Europe. Trip to ethno village Stara Kapela, a small typical village situated between the slope of Požega‘s mountain to a harmonious life with untouched nature and authentic architecture. We recommend traditional style dinner in delightful rural ambiance. After lovely dinner return to hotel. Overnight.
DAY 3.: NOVA GRADIŠKA – POŽEGA – KAPTOL – KUTJEVO – NOVA GRADIŠKA
After breakfast departure to Požega. Guided tour around this old town of long and rich culture and traditional, mentioned in history for the first time in 1227. The group will visit the most notable monuments of Požega: Church of St. Lawrence, Votive Monument to the Plaque, Franciscan monastery and Church of the Holy Ghost, Church of St. Theresa of Avila. Continuation of trip towards Nature Park Papuk where you will visit Jankovac, great mountain valley in the heart of Papuk Mountain. Lunch in a hiking house. Enjoy freshness and romance and sound of cold clear water of Jankovac which was proclaimed protected Park Forest in 1995. Visiting Equestrian club Filippos. Free time on the farm: rest and refreshment on the south hillside. Drive to Kaptol where medieval Kaštel is. After Kaptol you will visit Kutjevo. Tour around famous Kutjevo wine cellars with a local guide. Enjoy fresh air, famous “Golden Valley” vineyards and taste the gold of Kutjevo – top wine from best known winemakers of this region. Dinner will be served in a traditional household. Overnight.
DAY 4: NOVA GRADIŠKA – OSIJEK – NAŠICE – KARANAC – OSIJEK
After breakfast transfer to Osijek. Rest and refreshment in Našice, where you will visit the Castel of Family Pejačević. Continuation to the biggest city in Slavonia – Osijek. Upon arrival a guided city tour: cathedral, museum of Slavonia in Tvrđa – beautiful and the oldest part of the city. We walk by river Drava to the main Osijek square Ante Starčević and a winter harbor. After visiting the city with the most gardens in Croatia, we continue through Baranja to a picturesque ethno village Karanac, known for its large number of wellpreserved and inhabited Pannonian traditional houses that have gardens decorated with ethno elements, such as wooden beds and old wheels. Visit to the ethno restaurant House of Baranja (Baranjska kuća). Overnight.
DAY 5: OSIJEK – VINKOVCI – IVANKOVO – OSIJEK
Breakfast. Bus transfer to Vinkovci. Arrival to Archaeological Park Sopot, whit is located near holiday resorts Sopot. There are also the remains of the Franciscan monastery and the church from the 15th century as well as the hunting ground “Kunjevci” – the largest reserve of fallow deer in Croatia. Bus transfer towards Ivankovo to visit the farm “Antin Stan”, where each guest will be served in old traditional manner. Dinner and entertainment. Accommodation in hotel. Overnight.
DAY 6: OSIJEK – IVANDOR – LIPIZZANS COLT – ĐAKOVO – ŽIVIKE – ZAGREB
Breakfast. Arrival to Ivandvor near Đakovo, a home of Lipizzans colts until the age of three, when they are transferred in a stallion of The State Stud Farm in Đakovo. It was founded in 1506, which makes it one of the oldest horse farms in Europe. It also represents the long tradition of horse breeding in this area. After a tour we will visit the The St. Peter and St. Paul’s Cathedral in Đakovo, the town’s most famous landmark and the most important sacral object. It was built 1866-1882 under the bishop Josip Juraj Strossmayer. Continuation of the way to the village Živike near Slavonski Brod where you will visit Eco farm Kereković. You will enjoy traditional Slavonian meals and experience horse riding. After the great time on the Eco farm you can enjoy a boat ride on the river Sava where you can see domestic animals on watering place. Transfer to Zagreb. Accommodation in hotel. Overnight.
DAY 7: ZAGREB
After breakfast departure to Zagreb Airport.
